Dear Alumni Reps:

It is available in the IFP Alumni Reps web-page (http://www.programabecas.org/alumni/) the data base (MS EXCEL format), with contact information of Alumni and Fellows at the end of their studies. This data base will be permanently updated, but it is a good starting point for the previous work as you can collect information and coordinate all proposals you will represent collectively in October.

Some comments on the DATA BASE.

:. The file contains 7 spreadsheets (original Base, Base FIB, BRAZIL, MEXICO, GUATEMALA, PERU, CHlIE). The first one is the original file sent by IFF at the end of June 2004. Second one represents an integration of the update made by the IPs. And finally, you can see five spreadsheet, one for each IFP country in Latin America, with only data of current Alumni plus Fellows studying their last semester.

:. Until September 10th, there is 84 people who constitute the base of Alumni & Fellows IFP who will be able to contribute information for the success of the Planning Meeting.

:. For a better understanding of the file, let's review some values detailled on columns "R" to "Y" (in black), that are relevant for the Meeting:

D__ Fellow Elect - Deferred -> Fellow that has suspended the beginning of its studies
R__ Fellow - Rescinded -> Fellow that has rescinded its Contract with IFP
E__ Fellow Elect -> Fellow waiting for its IFP Contract

End date of IFP Contract
DD-MMM-AAAA__ Ending date of each IFP Contract. Contains 2 numbers for day + 3 for months + 4 for each year

:. NOTE 2: On the spreadsheets of each country, not all IFP Fellows from Latin America are listed, only current Alumni and those fellows ending their studies this year, with a exception for Guatemala, that has only Ana Marina as Alumni.

In the SCHEDULE you will be able to see all events relevant for this precious work, but we need your feed-back on it, to fit dates, edit some events, and as well as to add or to delete activities.

So, now you can begin the previous work as Alumni Representatives.
